Home sweet home
Home sweet home, they say. But what is home? It's been good to be home in Sweden, eat Swedish food, meet friends and family. But it has also been a bit tiring having to travel around so much, sleeping in new places and meet new people. At three locations we had meetings and talked about our work here on Thassos. Three very different and very pleasant gatherings. It was not always so structured and especially not as it struggled with the technical. But we trust that God did what he wanted to do even when the presentation was stumbling. A big thank you to the technical friends that was helping us along the trip. And it feels good that we got a lot of nice feedback -people that got encouraged by what we do.
Towards the end of our trip we started to feel a bit homesick - longing for Thassos. That's where we have our things, church, friends and our cat. However, it is hard to come back. Partly, because we are tired from the trip, partly because we are back to work with all that entails in terms of responsibility and a spiritual struggle.
Both Thassos and Sweden are our home! but both may look strange at times. When we at the beginning of the week met with "our youth" again after not seeing them for three weeks it felt good to be back. This is where we have our calling for now, we may in a few years again call Sweden our home for real but for now we live in a caravan in northen Greece.
