As time goes by...

Hello friends and other readers. Time is flying, passing and making it's mark. In just a few days we're having midsummer! It's about four weeks since the team left and almost a month since our last post on the blog... We have enjoyed fellowship with visiting friends, beeing part of hosting a conference, making online summer class, start to adjust our home for our third roomer.

Ok, I will start by introduce our Serbien friend Nicola that has been staying with us for almost two month now! He's a cool guy in about our age. He know greek like we wish we did.. He's been living in Greece for some years but has his family in northen Serbia. He came to the island to find a job and be part of our fellowship. We welcomed him to stay with us, thinking that he would stay for maybe a week then get a job and with that some money and so beeing able to find his own housing. But we have the spare room so we said why not just as well stay with us and by that helping us with our rent. The paychecks has not been so regular so it would also be hard for him aswell to pay a full rent somewhere.

At pentecost the fellowship were having a conference. I will make a seperate post about that.

Then we have had some good friends visiting. First there was a couple from Örebro that we got to know when we came for the conference two years ago. It's wounderful to be inspired by their love for the Lord Jesus and their heart for the greek people. They were also a blessing during the conference. Anette plays the guitar and sing her own songs and Ulf-Åke is never late to help in any way needed. Thank you for beeing part of our fellowship even though you live far away.

At the same time as Ulf-Åke and Anette was here we also were having the privilege of meeting Bosse from Tingvallahemmet and his family (Kenneth has done their homepage). Even though he came with family and was looking forward to enjoy the beach and an vacation with his loved ones he was part of our conference. The topic of the conference was "Love actually- Love in action" and Bosse was talking about reaching the lost- to whom can we be "a good samaritan".

Then we were having a visit from our church in Stockholm. Felix and his daughter came to see us and explore the beaches of Thassos :-). As much as possible we went with them to make sure they found the best beaches (sometimes you have to give up your rights to be able to serve, you know...). They are good people to have around, easy going and fun. Thanks for playing games with Lena, she's been missing that.

Now Kenneth is doing his homework for a internet class he's taking this summer. He's learning how to make 3D objects for filmmaking. His fourth exercise has to be done by today so it's a full day at the computer.
