bits of our life

June 6 is the national day of Sweden. We were having Ulf-Åke and Anette here who had brought some nice Swedish "Matjesill"- Soused herring. We didn't do much of a celebration because as a swede you don't really know how to celebrate the national day (it's only been a holyday for 6 years and we don't have any traditions connected to it) but we made a nice summer meal and pleace notice our lovely swedish flags in the strawberrys.
When Felix and Elvira came we were picking them up in Thessaloniki and they came right to the center of what they at home read in the newspaper. It was a national strike in a bankrupt Greece and on the mainstreet of Thessaloniki we met a procession of demonstrators. I'm not sure what it was about this time.

I just realized that we have not taken any picturs of any of our guests since the team was here. Except this one of Lena together with Felix and Elvira on the top of our Acropolis (the top just above where the team was staying. Kenneth took the picture from our balcony).

Snart får vi göra en ny bestigning. Eller om ni vill hyra jeap så kan vi åka upp på allra högsta toppen, åker inte gärna med bilen igen, är så dålig väg.
